In the past, LIOS has been privileged to partner with other universities to offer the program and manage student services through their infrastructure.
Applied Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis on Organization Development (OD) and Leadership Development is not something one can learn just through academic content. The larger university system is amazing yet OD taught by academics vs practitioners loses its power and connection to the greater business community. In contrast, LIOS offers experiential education taught by faculty who are primarily OD practitioners.
Now is the time to recreate LIOS as an independent private college. This will allow LIOS the independence needed to maintain optimal control over content, methods, and ultimately the freedom to live our values, innovate our program, and enable our students to have maximum impact in their organizations and the world around us!
As an independent private college we now have to build student services and infrastructure from the ground up.
We have been approved by the Workforce and Training and Education Coordination Board to offer a one year (6 module) LIOS Applied Behavior Science Certificate Program. Our first certificate program cohort will begin October 2022.
We have an application pending with the Washington Student Achievement Council for the LIOS Applied Behavior Science Master’s Degree Program.
