Reading Lists and Schedules:
If you have any questions about the readings or about book purchasing, or if you would like recommendations on where to start, please contact the Librarian, Lorelette Knowles, at 425.939.8135.
Items on the Reading schedules are formatted according to the rules in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th ed. Faculty has requested this formatting so that students will have an example of APA bibliographic style. This is the style students will need to use when they format their bibliographies for their Master’s Thesis Projects, and for presentations or published papers, articles, books, etc.

Information regarding the reading lists:
As of January and August 2007, the reading lists and schedules have been updated to include information about new editions of about 30 books presently on our lists and schedules. Older editions are available in the Library. On the updated list, you will see new publication dates and ISBNs, and some books will have new subtitles and publishers as well. The Library will gradually add these new editions to the collection over the course of this year and next. If you are buying books, buy the latest editions available.
Students are responsible for reading both Core Track curriculum and SC or LOD Track-specific materials, which are included in your track reading schedules. Above you will find links to reading lists ("shopping lists" of ALL books for both years, arranged by author) and the reading schedules (generally in official APA bibliographic format and arranged by year and module so that you know what materials to read when). These are usually updated prior to the beginning of the academic year and are subject to change prior to your second year in the program; the schedule/list current for the year in which you enter your program is the schedule/list which you will use for your second year. Both years’ materials are included in both the reading lists and schedules, to encourage reading ahead on the part of first-year students, and to facilitate communication between first- and second-year students.
